Terms and Conditions
- Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (hereafter referred to as "T&C") govern the use of services provided by Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Oasis Pilates Firenze (hereafter referred to as the "Studio"). By accessing and using our services, the client (hereafter referred to as the "Client") agrees to comply with these T&C. - Services
The Studio offers Reformer Pilates classes, workshops and events (hereafter referred to as "Sessions"). Our schedule is available through Motibro (hereafter referred to as "Motibro"), a third-party booking tool linked on our website. - Membership and Session Booking
3.1 To attend any Session, Clients must first become a member of our association by completing the membership form. Membership is valid from November to November each year.
3.2 Session bookings can be made online via Motibro or may be done in person for the first Session as well as for the membership form. Payment for any in-person bookings must be made by credit or debit card at the Studio.
3.3 All Sessions are subject to availability, and the Studio reserves the right to modify the schedule when necessary. - Payment Terms
4.1 Prices for all Sessions are displayed on the Studio’s website and within Motibro. The final price shown on Motibro is the applicable rate.
4.2 All payments made for Sessions booked through the Motibro tool are securely processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Stripe adheres to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) to ensure that all payment data is handled securely and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information, please refer to the Stripe Privacy Policy.
4.3 The membership fee and every Session must be paid in advance.
4.4 As stated in our bylaws, the annual membership fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
4.5 The Client agrees to the validity period of class packages as specified within Motibro, which is the final determining source for the expiry date of purchased packages - Cancellation Policy
5.1 Clients may cancel a booking up to 12 hours before the start time. If cancellation is made before this deadline, the Session will automatically be credited back to the Client's Motibro account.
5.2 If a cancellation is made less than 12 hours before the scheduled time, the booking will not be refunded unless the Client provides a valid medical certificate. The credit may be returned for compelling reasons at the discretion of the Studio. These rules apply to all Sessions.
5.3 Clients may contact the Studio to address any concerns about cancellations or Session credits. - Class Suspension Policy
Clients may request a suspension of their class package in case of injury, illness, or an emergency, provided the Studio is informed promptly. Suspensions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and upon positive consideration of the request, any remaining class credits will be valid upon resumption, in line with the validity periods specified in Clause 4.5. - Health Declaration
7.1 The Client declares that they are in good health and physically capable of participating in Pilates classes, including during pregnancy. Clients who are pregnant or have any other relevant health condition must notify the instructor before attending Pilates classes to ensure appropriate modifications are applied. Participation in Pilates classes after a certain stage of pregnancy requires medical approval.
7.2 The Studio strives to maintain a safe environment but is not liable for injuries caused by misuse of equipment, failure to follow instructions or undisclosed health problems. Participation is at the Client’s own risk.
7.3 Each time a Client attends a Pilates class, they affirm that they are in the appropriate physical and mental condition to participate in the class. The Client agrees not to attend any class under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or any condition that may impair their ability to safely engage in physical activity. The Studio reserves the right to deny participation to anyone who appears unfit to safely participate in any Session. - Liability for Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during Sessions, and the Studio is not liable for any loss, theft or damage to items. - Data Protection
The Studio processes Clients' personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant Italian legislation. Clients may refer to the Privacy Policy for details on how their data is collected and processed. - Liability for Damages
10.1 The Client is liable for any intentional damage caused to the Studio, its property or equipment. The Studio reserves the right to seek full compensation for any intentional harm or property damage caused by the Client.
10.2 The Studio maintains high standards of safety and care in all facilities and equipment. However, Clients are responsible for any damage resulting from negligence, failure to follow the instructor’s guidance or misuse of equipment. The Studio is not liable for any unintentional damage caused by the Client, except where such damage arises directly from the Studio’s failure to provide a safe environment or necessary instructions for equipment use. Clients are encouraged to report any damage or safety issues to Studio staff immediately. - Final Provisions
10.1 Any matters not covered by these T&C are governed by applicable Italian law.
10.2 The Studio reserves the right to amend these T&C. Clients will be informed of significant changes via email and updates on the Studio’s website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
